KiteX started the TWT-11 project with an EUDP grant of 9.9 million DKK, along with 5 million in private capital to design and develop the TWT-11 concept. Now in 2026 we are nearly there.

Intellectual Property

KiteX has developed all core technologies completely in-house securing two high value patents in the process. Spanning all the way form embedded systems design to blade manufacturing.

The TWT-11 has a huge potential, with over 40.000 verified sites in Denmark alone the market is sizeable and growing. Beyond Denmark we have identified approximately 25 million potential customer sites. Many of these would benefit from having more than one TWT-11 deployed.
