    Answer

    What does a TWT-11 cost?

The list price is 165,000 DKK in Denmark and 21,100 EUR in Germany, including installation and VAT. The German price is the Danish price converted to euros, with 19 % German VAT instead of 25 % Danish VAT. Permits, the inverter, 25 m of cable and the first-year check are also included. There are no hidden extras.

New reservations on the 2028 waitlist are at the list price.

How far from my neighbours does it need to be?

As a rule of thumb, we plan for at least 4 times the total height to the nearest neighbour's home. That is about 84 m in Denmark; in Germany we plan with at least 100 m. These are our planning rules, not legal minimums.

The distance also sets the noise and shadow levels at your neighbour's home, which we calculate for your site in the feasibility study.

I already have solar panels. Can the turbine work with them?

Yes. Depending on your installation, we either connect the standard inverter alongside it or upgrade to a larger inverter that serves both your existing system and the TWT-11. We settle this in the installation design phase.

The two also complement each other: solar produces most in summer, wind most in winter.

Who takes care of the permits?

KiteX does. We handle the contact with the authorities for the installation permit, register the turbine with the relevant agency and your grid company, and pay the associated fees.

We do need information about your property along the way, so expect a few questions from us.
